DOOM edition RTX 5080 bundle revealed by ASUS ahead of The Dark Ages release (2025)

Keeping up with their tradition of collaboration, ASUS has once again teamed up with Bethesda and id Software to celebrate the 30th anniversary of DOOM and the release of the highly anticipated title DOOM: The Dark Ages. This time, the partnership brings us the limited-edition ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 OC DOOM Edition, inspired by the iconic DOOM Slayer character.

According to an official ASUS blog post, pre-orders for this exclusive graphics card will begin soon and will be available only through the Bethesda DOOM Gear Store. But that’s not all. The bundle will also include a mouse mat, an exclusive DOOM Slayer T-shirt, a yellow key card, and a special ROG DOOM Slayer Legionary in-game skin, which can also be swapped for the Deluxe edition of the game.

ASUS ROG meets DOOM Slayer

In terms of style, this limited-edition RTX 5080 comes with bold green and gold colors, closely resembling the DOOM Slayer character’s palette. On the backplate, there’s a big DOOM Slayer artwork, and the fan blades are also designed to resemble the Shield Saw from the game, with vibrant green colors that stand out. There is also subtle iconography and runic text from the game present around the frame of the card, and the rear mounting bracket and heatsink are finished in gold.

Overall, this GPU looks like a must-have collector's piece, and since it's an RTX 5080, it also makes it one of the best GPUs for this game. DOOM: The Dark Ages comes with support for DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, which are exclusive to the latest RTX 50 series GPUs. On top of that, the game goes all in on Ray Tracing, not only enhancing visuals but also offering key game improvements like better hit detection and the ability to distinguish materials more clearly.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is set to arrive on May 15th, so we can expect pre-orders for this limited edition RTX 5080 to go live before that.
